To authorise the sealing and completion of the
Deed of Variation to the Partnership Arrangement Agreement with
West Sussex County Council. This variation relates to the
continuation and enhancement of the Public Health Wellbeing
Programme, including additional funding for a three-year period
from 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2027 to support strength and balance
services aimed at reducing falls and supporting the wider health
and care system across West Sussex.

Reasons for the decision

The variation enables Arun District Council to
continue delivering and supporting the county-wide Public Health
Wellbeing Programme in partnership with WSCC. The additional
funding and programme extension will enhance preventative health
services and contribute to improved outcomes for
residents.

Alternative options considered

No alternative options were considered
appropriate. The variation is necessary to secure funding and
formalise the continuation of the programme.
