To direct award the above project to Sussex
Drone Pilot for the value of £1,300. In accordance with
ADC’s procurement process, based on the project value, a
direct award was made

Reasons for the decision

This project includes drone video and images
to showcase each of the main towns (Arundel Bognor Regis and
Littlehampton). These videos will highlight the uniqueness,
heritage and local pride of these towns. Providing an opportunity
to showcase recent projects and change perceptions of the towns for
partners, businesses, funders, stakeholders, residents and
visitors.

This project will produce
• 3x 3-4 minute drone videos
• 3x 30 second drone videos
• A series of drone images

The objective is to use the videos to show what each town has to
offer, to change perceptions and give a fresh set of eyes to
celebrate the positives and uniqueness.

These videos will be hosted on Council webpages and social media.
Upon completion, officers will engage local organisations to offer
the videos for further sharing and use.

Alternative options considered

Yes – Do nothing was considered and
dismissed. This project provides a great opportunity to showcase
the delivery and progress of projects in the three towns.
