To appoint Survival to Significance to deliver
in-person, one-to-one business support to small independent
businesses across the Arun District, as outlined in the Invitation
to Quote issued on 1 August 2025.

Reasons for the decision

The project is funded by the UK Shared
Prosperity Fund and aims to provide tailored, face-to-face support
to small businesses that may not otherwise access such services.
The appointed supplier will deliver up to 3 hours of support per
business, plus 1 hour for admin and reporting.
The total contract value is up to £15,000. The contract will
run from September 2025 to 31 March 2026, subject to funding
availability and take-up.

Alternative options considered

Quotes were invited from 14 potential
suppliers. 5 quotations were received. These were scored by two
independent assessors, using a scoring matrix.
