Approval granted for Legal Services to execute
a Deed of Covenant in relation to the sale of xx Priory Road,
Arundel.
The incoming purchaser is required to enter into a Deed of Covenant
confirming their agreement to observe and perform the covenants set
out in the Third Schedule of the Transfer dated 10 July 1978, and
to ensure the same obligation is passed on upon future sale.
Reasons for the decision
To ensure continuity of obligations under the
original Transfer and to protect the Council’s interests in
relation to the property.
This is a standard legal requirement when properties subject to
historic covenants are sold

appropriate, as the execution of the Deed of Covenant is a
