To appoint LITE to supply and fit replacement
catenary wires, plus installation of new festoon lighting operated
by 2 x astronomical timers at High Street, Littlehampton.

Reasons for the decision

In accordance with contract standing orders
for procurement activity of this size, three specialist lighting
suppliers were invited to quote for products and services in line
with a clear and detailed brief of requirements.

All three companies submitted quotes in response. Following
assessment and follow up evidence, Lighting and Illumination
Technology Experience (LITE) was selected to deliver the project,
as they were able to meet the requirements of the brief in full,
supplying a bulb with a 5 year guarantee. The quote for all
lighting, astronomical timers, replacement catenary wires and all
electrical and installation services totals £18,711.

Alternative options considered

None – the project was approved by the
2025-26 UKSPF selection panel, so must be delivered.
