Reasons for the decision

The Fishermen’s Quarter Vision Document
focuses on three main areas within Bognor Regis. The unique seabed,
the wet fish stall and the ground floor of the vacant site at
Waterloo Square.

The authority was awarded £30,000 via the Arun Growth Deal
through West Sussex County Council to procure a consultant to lead
on the creation of a vision document.

The vision document enables the authority to present a vision for
the area in terms of conservation, education and retail,
capitalising on the heritage and supporting ongoing efforts to
support the fishing sector.

Quotes were sought from five organisations in accordance with
contract standing orders.
