This is to certify that the following list of
Officers are authorised via authority provided to me under Part 4
(Officer Scheme of Delegation) and Part 7 (Scheme of
Authorisations) in Arun District Council’s
Constitution.

Reasons for the decision

Under associated powers of the Housing Act
2004 (including any and all amending legislation and any statutory
instruments made thereunder) these Officers are provided with
authority to serve notices, enter premises, take emergency remedial
action, initiate works in default, and commence prosecutions or
civil penalties. Including but not limited to:

• Approval of notices/orders
• Power of entry
• Emergency action notices
• Approval of warrant to enter premises
• Approve legal proceedings
• Sign off financial penalties

Officers:

• Communities and Wellbeing Manager
• Head of Business Improvement and Tenancy Services
• Housing Options Manager
• Repairs and Maintenance Manager

This endorsed document should be enclosed with evidence provided
for each legal proceeding.
