To authorise the requirement for the incoming
purchaser of xx Somerset Road to enter into a Deed of Covenant
confirming they will observe and perform the covenants set out in
Paragraph 7 of the Third Schedule of the Transfer and agree to
enter into a similar Deed upon future sale of the property. A fee
of £200 is to be paid for this service.

Reasons for the decision

This action ensures compliance with the
covenants contained in the property’s transfer deed,
maintaining the Council’s legal position and obligations for
future transactions.

Alternative options considered

Remove covenant requirement: Rejected as it
would breach the terms of the original transfer and compromise the
Council’s interests.
