An order is placed with Marble Group for the
value of £4,298.50 covering the initial hire and installation
of the generator (£,3,046.40) with provisional allowances for
4 weeks hire and 375l of fuel.

Reasons for the decision

Following quotes having been requested, to
ensure continuation of critical internal and public facing
operations Unit D4 must be made ready and compliant for occupation
by 28th January to ensure Harwood Road Depot is vacated by 30th
January to allow increased household waste services to be
introduced.

Alternative options considered

To not arrange temporary electrical supply:-
This option comes at significantly greater risk. It is extremely
unlikely that the mains electrical supply will be reinstated in
time.
