To instruct legal to prepare and enter into a
renewal lease to Pagham Bowls Club (XXX) for Swansea Gardens
Pavilion, Swansea Gardens, Bognor Regis

The lease will be inside the 1954 Landlord and Tenant Act, as per
the existing lease. The lease will be for a term of 10 years with
tenant only break options at the 3rd and 6th anniversaries, at a
rent of £250 per annum. There will be an RPI-based rent
review at the 5th anniversary.

Reasons for the decision

The renewal presents further security over the
Swansea Gardens Pavilion and allows the Bowls Club to continue
providing services to the community, whilst also providing an
increase in rental income.

Alternative options considered

No other options considered as the tenant has
Security of Tenure.
