To instruct Legal Services to prepare, review and progress a Nominations Agreement relating to the M&G Affordable Living development at Bilsham Road, Yapton Hyde Housing, and to act on the Council's behalf in relation to this matter.

Reasons for the decision

A Nominations Agreement is required to secure the Council's nomination rights for the affordable housing provision within the development. Legal Services were instructed to open a formal legal matter and undertake the necessary legal work to support and complete the agreement.

Alternative options considered

Not entering into a Nominations Agreement was rejected as it could limit or prevent the Council from securing nomination rights to the affordable housing units and would not support the Council's housing objectives.
