To instruct Legal Services to prepare, review and progress a Nominations Agreement relating to the Abri Homes Landings site at Ford, Arundel, and to undertake the necessary legal work on behalf of the Council.

Reasons for the decision

A Nominations Agreement is required to secure the Council's nomination rights in respect of the affordable housing provision within the development. Legal Services were instructed to open a formal legal matter and progress the agreement to support the Council's housing objectives.

Alternative options considered

Not entering into a Nominations Agreement was considered and rejected as this could reduce or remove the Council's ability to nominate eligible households to the affordable housing units and would not support the effective delivery of affordable housing within the district.
