Reasons for the decision

A Nominations Agreement is required to secure Arun District Council's nomination rights to the affordable housing units within the development. Authorisation was provided to enable Legal Services to complete the agreement and ensure the Council's housing interests are protected.

Alternative options considered

Not entering into a Nominations Agreement was considered and rejected as it could limit the Council's ability to nominate eligible households to the affordable housing provision and would not support the delivery of the Council's affordable housing objectives.
