To authorise Legal Services to execute and enter into a Nominations Agreement for the affordable housing development at Nursery Fields, Bognor Regis (BE/148/20/OUT, Land to the North of Chalcraft Lane).

Reasons for the decision

A Nominations Agreement is required to secure Arun District Council's nomination rights for the affordable housing units within the development. Authorising Legal Services to enter into the agreement ensures the Council is able to nominate eligible households for affordable housing in line with its housing priorities and statutory responsibilities.

Alternative options considered

The option of not entering into a Nominations Agreement was considered and rejected as it could restrict the Council's ability to secure nomination rights to the affordable housing units and would not support the Council's affordable housing objectives.
