Purpose

Seek approval to bid to the Heat Network Delivery Unit and any other relevant body for grant funding for Heat Network Project Development and in the event of a successful application authority be delegated to proceed to detailed project development, subject to consultation with Deputy CEO and Leader of the Council for any match funding requirements.

Decision

Bid process approved with delegated authority given to Head of Policy and Performance to proceed and subject to consultation with Deputy CEO and Leader of the Council for any match funding. The solicitor to the Council and Monitoring Officer be authorised to negotiate, finalise and complete all necessary legal agreements and other documents to give effect to the above.
