About
The Full Council is the ultimate decision-making body for Babergh District Council and serves as the main forum for significant political discussions. It is attended by all elected councillors and is responsible for setting the council's overall objectives, major policies, and financial strategies. The Full Council also reviews recommendations from Scrutiny Committees on important matters and agrees the composition of other council committees. Through its Constitution, it delegates the execution of many of the District Council's functions and policies.
