Purpose
To endorse the Food and Drink Action Plan.
Decision
It was RESOLVED: -
- 1.1 That Cabinet noted the action plan and the progress achieved to date.
- 1.2 That the Director of Place with the agreement of the Cabinet member for Thriving Communities had delegated authority to make amendments to the Plan as necessary.
- 1.3 To report the progress of the Plan to Cabinet in 12 months’ time.
REASON FOR DECISION
To satisfy itself that the action plan will achieve the ambitions of action MS89 in the Mid Suffolk Priority Action Plan and the Mid Suffolk Outcome ‘Championing Local Food Production’.
The Food and Drink Action Plan helps Mid Suffolk District Council improve health, reduce inequalities, support local businesses, meet climate targets, and coordinate action across services.
