To amend the Affordable Housing Commuted Sums
Spending Policy under the authority granted through the
recommendation approved by both Cabinets in July 2023.

The amendment is as follows; to move the requirement to consider
affordable housing need (paragraph 3.1 (ii)) from the
‘Eligibility Criteria’ section to the ‘Scheme
Justification Criteria’ as a new criteria (xi).
