Purpose

The Cabinet will be presented with an update on the impact of Social Value in respect of the Council’s procurement and commissioning arrangements during 2025/26 following the introduction of the new policy and toolkit in October 2020.

Decision

Cabinet resolved to:

(i)  Note the continued positive impact of the Council’s Social Value in Procurement policy in terms of suppliers’ social value commitments and associated outputs during 2025/26, as detailed in Appendix A to the report; and

(ii)  Note the Council’s wider Social Impact across other Inclusive Economy sectors.
