The Cabinet will be asked to approve the procurement strategy for the provision of arboricultural services, via an Open Framework, to the Council, parters, schools and other public bodies.

(i)  Agree that the Council proceeds with the procurement of an open framework agreement, accessible to internal partners, public bodies and schools, for the provision of arboricultural services, in accordance with the strategy set out in the report; and

(ii)  Delegate authority to the Director of Public Realm, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Environment and Climate Change and the Director of Law and Governance, to conduct the procurement and establish an Open Framework and enter into contracts and all other necessary or ancillary agreements with the successful bidder(s), in accordance with the strategy set out in the report.
