Decision

The purpose of this report is
to approve the proposed school term and holiday dates for community
and voluntary controlled primary and secondary schools in the
Borough for the 2026/2027 school year (Please see Appendix 1 of
this report) The proposed dates have been the subject of
consultation with local schools, neighbouring local authorities and
relevant trade unions. These dates are aligned with the pattern of
dates within neighbouring local authorities and have been informed
by Regional guiding principles (Please see Appendix
2).
