RESOLVED
that Cabinet:-
 
(i)           
Notes the increasing demand pressures within the
national and local SEND system and the associated risks and
implications on finance, ability to meet statutory duties and
education outcomes for children; and

 
(ii)         
Approves the proposal to increase capacity in SEND
services, funded by increasing the Dedicated Schools Grant funding
(High Needs Block) deficit through an invest to save approach.
Annual total cost is £599,870.
