Purpose

To seek approval of Berneslai
Homes’ repairs policy which has been produced to  align with regulatory changes under the Regulator
of Social Housing’s Consumer Standards.

Decision

RESOLVED
that Cabinet:-
 

1.   
Approve the Berneslai Homes Repairs and Maintenance
Policy; noting the links to existing policies and procedures and
requirements to keep the policy under review as new regulatory
requirements emerge. A copy of the policy is located at Appendix B;
and
 

2.   
Delegate any minor amends to the Policy which ensure
maintained compliance with all Regulatory Standards (both pre and
post publication) to the Service Director for Regeneration and
Culture in consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Regeneration
and Culture.
