Purpose

A specific co-produced plan to
optimise Barnsley’s approaches to prevent and deter littering
and environmental crime in the Borough.

Decision

RESOLVED
that Cabinet:-
 

1.   
Agree the commitments set out in the co-produced
Litter and Environmental Crime Plan; and
 

2.   
Delegate authority to the Executive Directors Public
Health and Communities and Growth and Sustainability to implement
the action plan. Progress will be reviewed annually; and
 

3.   
Note the role of the community in contributing
towards the development and delivery of the plan; and
 

4.   
Approve the revised Fixed Penalty tariffs for
environmental offences for implementation from August
2024.
