Purpose

To seek approval to acquire May Place
House.

Decision

1.         
Approve in principle the freehold purchase and refurbishment by the
Council of May Place House, subject to full due diligence, and the
subsequent entering into of a lease and a contract to provide
housing management and support services with a registered housing
and support provider.

 
2.         
Delegate authority to finalise the detailed terms and conditions of
the purchase and the subsequent entering into of a lease to a
registered housing and support provider to the Director of
Regeneration.
 
3.         
Delegate authority to finalise the detailed terms and conditions of
a contract to provide housing management and support services with
a registered housing and support provider to the Director of
Resident Services.
