Purpose

To consider an outline proposal for local
government reorganisation.

Decision

1.         
Approve the joint interim plan at appendix 2 of the report for
submission to government by the 21st 
March 2025 deadline.

 
2.         
Advocate and make the case for four new unitary councils for
mainland Hampshire including a Northern Hampshire Unitary Council
encompassing the existing boroughs and districts of Basingstoke and
Deane, Hart and Rushmoor.
