Purpose

An update and review of the criteria used to
prioritise Local Nature Reserve declarations in the
borough.  It also includes a review and
update of the Priority List that sets out the order in which the
council will declare them.

Decision

Cabinet approve:
 
1)        
The revised criteria to be used to assess potential sites for
declaration as Local Nature Reserves as set out in the report.

 
2)        
The Priority List for declaration as set out in the report and that
these sites be declared in this order as part of the council work
programme.
