Purpose

To consider a strategy to support the recovery
of biodiversity.

Decision

1)     
Approve the principles, objectives, priorities and actions in the
draft Biodiversity Strategy 2024-2030, appended in Appendix 2 of
the report.

 
2)     
Approve the proposed Action Plan in Appendix 3 of the report.
 
3)     
Delegate to the Head of Environment and Community Services in
consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Climate and Ecological
Emergencies to finalise the Strategy and update the Strategy and
action plan as appropriate.
