Decision

(1)                 
To approve
the grant of an overriding lease of each of Broadway Square and the
Broadway Shopping Centre.
 

(2)                 
To delegate
to the Director of Finance and Corporate Services, in consultation
with the Cabinet Member for Resources, to finalise the terms for
the grant of the overriding leases at Broadway Square and Broadway
Shopping Centre broadly in the form appended at Exempt Appendix E
to the report to Public Cabinet on 11 July 2024 and that the
receipts for Broadway Shopping Centre be available to fund
transformation as per the Flexible Use of Capital Receipts Strategy
agreed at Public Cabinet and Council in February and March 2024,
respectively; and
 

(3)                 
The Deputy
Director (Legal and Democratic Services) be authorised to undertake
all necessary actions to finalise and complete the enter two new
overriding leases.
