Purpose

The Council's delegated budgets scheme allocates budgets of £6,500 to each Ward Councillor covered for the financial year 2024/2025. The funding for this scheme can be spent on supplementing funding public services, for the benefit of the local community.

Councillor Michele Scott of Warbreck ward has requested:

(i)                  £200 as a ward councillor donation to Gynn Square Memorial Group, towards the cost of Gardening equipment for Jubilee Gardens.

Councillor Danny Scott of Warbreck ward has requested:

(i)                  £199.99 as a ward councillor donation to Gynn Square Memorial Group, towards the cost of Gardening equipment for Jubilee Gardens.

Councillor Mel Fenlon of Bloomfield ward has requested:

(i)                  £150 as a ward councillor donation to Red Rose Women’s Group, towards the cost of a coach trip to Bury market.

Councillor Jim Hobson of Bloomfield ward has requested:

(i)                  £150 as a ward councillor donation to Red Rose Women’s Group, towards the cost of a coach trip to Bury market.

Councillor Peter Hunter of Highfield ward has requested:

(i)                  £1017.17 as a ward councillor donation to Foxhall Juniors FC, towards the cost of a new football kit for the under thirteen team.

Councillor Kim Critchley of Hawes Side ward has requested:

(i)                  £47.99 as a ward councillor donation to Friends of Bridge House Farm, towards the cost of a new strimmer for Friends of Bridge House Farm Recreation Park.

Councillor Neal Brookes of Hawes Side ward has requested:

Councillor Julie Jones of Greenlands ward has requested:

(i)                  £403.23 as a ward councillor donation to Layton Juniors Football Club, towards the cost of new football equipment.
