Purpose

The proposed Parking Services fees and charges for the remainder of 2023/24 applicable to Central, Bonny Street, Chapel Street, Alfred Street, South King Street and South Beach visitor car parks only.

Decision

The Cabinet Member agreed the recommendations as outlined above namely:

1. To agree the amended  schedule of off street parking tariffs until the 31 March 2024 for Central, Bonny Street, Chapel Street, Alfred Street, South King Street and South Beach visitor car parks each as set out within the attached schedule at Appendix A, subject to consultation.

1. To authorise the placing of the necessary public notices to give effect to the increase in parking tariffs.

1. To note that all other tariffs and charges will remain the same as agreed on 20th February 2023.

1. To note all Council off street carparks, excluding Filey Place and Talbot Road multi-storey, will have reduced tariffs to £1 for 3 hours with effect from 17 November 2023 until 2 January 2024
