Purpose

1.1            This report seeks approval to authorise, for planning purposes, a parcel of land, which for indicative purposes is shown edged red on the attached plan (“the Land) pursuant to section 133 of the Local Government Act 1972.

Decision

To confirm approval of the methodology for the appropriation of land at Appendix A for planning purposes.

To authorise the Head of Legal to enter into any such documentation as may be necessary to give effect to or flowing from the appropriation of the Subject Land.

If no formal objections are received subsequent to the publication of the public notices to delegate authority to Director of Communications and Regeneration to appropriate the ‘Land’ for planning purposes
