This report is a progress update a year on
from receiving the ‘Best Value Notice’ on 3 August
2023. The recommendations were welcomed and have been
implemented.

All
actions in response to the ‘Best Value Notice’ are
complete.
Officers have given DLUHC, and now the Ministry of Housing,
Communities and Local Government (MHCLG), regular updates and
received positive feedback from Civil Servants on progress and
engagement.
