Purpose

The Water Safety framework’s aim is to
provide a clear approach to water safety for the prevention of
drowning across the BCP Council conurbation

Content

RESOLVED that Cabinet: -

(a)          
noted the contents of the framework and agreed
the framework process; and

(b)         
delegates to the Director of Commercial
Operations in consultation with the Portfolio Holder for
Destination, Leisure and Commercial Operations the implementation
of the framework.

Reason
The development of
the framework supports the corporate strategy to ensure that
working together, everyone feels safe and secure and that people
can be active and healthy with the positive impact blue spaces can
bring.
