Rural England Prosperity Grant
Fund Programme – Shop Front Redecoration Grants.

Decision

Following an application
process and panel meeting on 17 September 2025, the allocation of
Shop Front Redecoration Grants to be awarded as follows:

Tall Orders, Dereham - (£750.00)
·        
Cock Inn, Dereham - (£3,465)
·        
Hair Hut, Dereham (£5,000)
 

Reasons for the decision

Breckland Council was allocated
funding amounting to £530,458 for the period 1 April 2025 to
31 March 2026 from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) split
between Capital and Revenue Spend.  Funding allocated must be utilized by the end of the fiscal year
2025-26.
 
Cabinet, at its meeting of 24
March 2025, agreed a proposed approach to utilising this funding, with delegated authority to
the Executive Director in consultation with the Portfolio Holder of
Economy and Growth for the administration, delivery and operation of the funding. 
 
As such, a Shop Front Repair
and Re-decoration Grant Scheme has been
launched and applications invited, with the allocated grants
as part of this scheme, identified above.
