Reasons for the decision

Breckland was allocated funding
amounting to £530,458 for the period 1 April 2025 to 31 March
2026 from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) split between
Capital and Revenue Spend.  Funding
allocated must be utilised by the end of the fiscal year
2025-26.
 
Cabinet, at its meeting of 24
March 2025, agreed a proposed approach to utilising this funding,
with delegated authority to the Executive Director in consultation
with the Portfolio Holder of Economy and Growth for the
administration, delivery and operation of the funding. 
 
As such, an allocation has been
made as part of this scheme, identified above.
