Reasons for the decision

Breckland was allocated funding amounting to £530,458 for the period 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026 from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) split between Capital and Revenue Spend.  Funding allocated must be utilised by the end of the fiscal year 2025-26.

Cabinet, at its meeting of 24 March 2025, agreed a proposed approach to utilising this funding, with delegated authority to the Executive Director in consultation with the Portfolio Holder of Economy and Growth for the administration, delivery and operation of the funding.

As such, an allocation has been made as part of this scheme, identified above.
