Community Transport Grant Scheme

Decision

That the following 3 Transport grant awards of
£500 each are approved.
 
Dereham Meeting Point -
£500 -Funding would be used to directly support the
running and availability of Dereham Meeting Point’s community
minibus, which plays a vital role in reducing transport barriers
across Dereham and surrounding rural villages.
 
Helping Hands - £500 - To
subsidise transport from Kenninghall to our warm space at Thrive
each week, for residents with no transport wishing to attend our
warm space/ community hot meals and cookery workshops.
 
Norfolk Lowland Search and Rescue -
£500 - to assist with costs for volunteers to continue
to provide a professional service whenever the police feel
necessary.
