Purpose

Authorisation to release funding for the East Harling Parish Council for their Street Furniture Upgrade (refurbishment of seating area, bin and bike rack adjacent entrance of village primary school and replacement dog waste bin at the entrance to the village community garden and play area) East Harling (see full report). 

It was secured under Section 106 Agreement dated 9th August 2013 & Deed of Variation dated 15th April 2014 in relation to Planning Permissions 3PL/2012/0946/F & 3PL/2013/1006/F.

Decision

Breckland Council authorises the release of £773.25 from the Recreational Contribution held by the Council in accordance with Section 106 Agreement dated 9th August 2013 & Deed of Variation dated 15th April 2014 in relation to Planning Permissions 3PL/2012/0946/F & 3PL/2013/1006/F, towards the Street Furniture Upgrade Project, at two locations in Harling (see full report attached).

Reasons for the decision

This work is consistent with the requirements within the S106 Agreement as detailed above. 

It is recommended that delegated authority is granted to release £773.25 from the Recreation Contribution held by the Council in accordance with Section 106 Agreement dated 9th August 2013 & Deed of Variation dated 15th April 2014 in relation to Planning Permissions 3PL/2012/0946/F & 3PL/2013/1006/F towards this project.

Alternative options considered

·         Fully fund the application as set out in the report.
