Purpose

Authorisation to release funding for recreation provisions secured under Section 106 Legal Agreement dated 20th August 2015 in relation to Planning Permission 3PL/2014/1300/F.

Decision

Breckland Council authorises the release of £2998.63 to Garvestone & Thuxton Village Hall from Recreation Contribution held by the Council in accordance with a Section 106 Agreement dated 20th August 2015, in relation to Planning Permission 3PL/2014/1300/F, for the replacement seating in the children’s play area and replacement of seats on toddler swing set, at the Garvestone & Thuxton Village Hall, Dereham Road, Garvestone.

Reasons for the decision

This work is consistent with the requirements within the S106 Agreement as detailed above.

It is recommended that delegated authority is granted to release £2998.63 from the Recreation Contribution held by the Council in accordance with S106 Agreement dated 20th August 2015 under planning application 3PL/2014/1300/F for this project.

Alternative options considered

·         Fully fund the application as set out in the report.

·         Do nothing.
