Purpose

Authorisation to release
funding for recreation provisions secured under Section 106 Legal
Agreements 3PL/2008/1083/F dated 16th January 2009 and
3PL/2015/0546/O dated 17th January
2017.

Decision

To release the S106
recreational funds held totalling £268,297.57 to Breckland
Council for the Attleborough Leisure 3G Project for the town of
Attleborough.
 

Reasons for the decision

Breckland Council wishes to use
these funds for the Attleborough Leisure 3G Project for
Attleborough and have therefore made a request for the release of
money held by the Council from a S106 Agreement dated
16th January 2009, relating to planning permission
3PL/2008/1083/F, which secured the sum of £9980.00 and from
S106 Agreement dated 17th January 2017, relating to
planning permission 3PL/2015/0546/O, which secured the sum of
£258,317.57.  Total Money held and
requested £268,297.57 for those works.
 
A consultation has taken place
and the Finance Team has confirmed the funds are available from
those applications and Attleborough Town Council has raised no
objections.

Alternative options considered

Fully fund the application proposed by Breckland
Council as set out in the report.
