Decision

RESOLVED that:

1)     the report and appendices be noted.

CABINET RECOMMENDS to FULL COUNCIL:

2)     that the final end of year out-turn variance which cannot be funded from the General Fund is met from the Revenues and Benefits reserve.

Reasons for the decision

To use the Revenues and Benefits reserve to fund the remaining overspend, as a large element of the forecast overspend is related to Housing Benefits.

Alternative options considered

Options:

1)     To note the content of the report and appendices showing detail of Finance, Performance and Corporate Projects.

2)     To recommend to Full Council that the final end of year out-turn variance which cannot be funded from the General Fund is met from the Revenues and Benefits reserve.
