Implementation of new Fixed Penalty Notice values for
primary waste offences 2024

Decision

To allow Breckland
Council’s Fixed Penalty Notice financial values, in respect
of key waste offences, to be adapted to a new maximum in line with
Government legislation. This will also see the implementation of a
new tiered approach to these offences which will allow for more
serious offences to be prioritised with greater penalty
sanction.
