Purpose

To seek agreement to release funds paid as a result of S106 agreement dated 18th November 2020 in relation to Planning Permission 3TL/2011/0030/TL.

Decision

Breckland Council authorises the release of £95,752.64 from the Village Hall Contribution held by the Council in accordance with a Section 106 Agreement dated 18th November 2020, in relation to Planning Permission 3TL/2011/0030/TL, towards the works as described above to be undertaken at Wretham Village Hall, Church Road, Wretham by the Wretham Village Hall Committee (see full report).

Reasons for the decision

This work is consistent with the requirements within the S106 Agreement as detailed within the report. 

It is recommended that delegated authority is granted to release £95,752.64 from the Village Hall Contribution held by the Council in accordance with S106 Agreement dated 18th November 2020 under planning application 3TL/2011/0030/TL for contribution towards this project.

Alternative options considered

Options:

1)     Fully fund the application as set out in the report.

2)     Do nothing.
