Sanctuary Scheme Service Funding

Decision

To receive £32,390.70 from Norfolk County Council to fund the Sanctuary Scheme Service for 2026 – 27.

Reasons for the decision

The Sanctuary Scheme strengthens security in survivors’ homes, helping them remain safely in their own accommodation. By reducing risk and fear, it also avoids unnecessary demand for temporary or alternative housing. Norfolk County Council fully funds the 0.5 FTE post that manages the scheme and oversees delivery of the works.

Alternative options considered

This is a funded scheme with a Service Level Agreement to monitor delivery; therefore, other options are not relevant.
