Purpose

Authorisation to Release Funds from the Inspiring
Communities Match Funding Grant Scheme.

Decision

That the following grant awards totalling
£25,648 are approved:
 
·       
Caring Friends for Cancer £3500 To contribute to the
transport costs for outings, volunteer driver expenses and an
initiative to recruit more volunteer drivers.
 
·       
Home-Start Norfolk £4648 To provide early support
interventions for Breckland families with children under the age of
5.
 
·       
Love Dereham Ltd £5000 To support local people with
food and companionship.
 
·       
Norwich City Community Sports Foundation £2500 To
continue to deliver the 'Street Canaries' programme in Dereham
supporting young people aged 11-16 who have low attainment at
schools.
 
·       
Thetford Vineyard Church £5000 To contribute to the
operating costs of the Growkids project in Thetford which provides
childrens clothing as well as Kids Matter parenting courses.
 
·       
Wellspring Family Centre £5000 To support the
Well-come project which supports people of all ages who are
suffering from chronic health issues.
