Purpose

To request approval to invite tenders for the
full management of Bobby Moore Bridge advertising.

Content

That the Director of Communities:
 
i)            
Approves inviting tenders for the full management of Bobby Moore
Bridge advertising on the basis of the pre-tender
considerations.
 
ii)           
Approves Officers evaluating the tenders referred to in
(i) above on the basis of the
evaluation criteria.
 
iii)          
Approves seeking tenders for the following two options:
 
a.   
Advertising on the parapet walls of the bridge only where the
existing digital screens are located so that will not affect any of
the tiled areas.
b.   
Advertising on the parapet walls of the bridge, plus the underpass
walls, excluding the mural with plaque except on occasional event
days at Wembley Stadium.
 
iv)          
Notes that bidders must submit a bid for both option a. and option
b. but that the preferred bidder for both options will be
identified using the bid for option a.
 
v)           
Notes that, following evaluation of tenders, Cabinet will make the
final award decision between option a. or option b.
