Purpose

Brentwood Borough Council proposes the adoption of a litter-picking guidance to enhance environmental stewardship and community engagement.

The litter-picking scheme supports the Council’s priority to reduce litter and fly tipping by enabling residents and community groups to borrow equipment for clean-up events. By providing a simple checklist its aim is to give more groups confidence to organise litter-picks.
