Purpose

Report on the deployment of the Fairness Fund
and Household Support Fund to support communities and low income
households experiencing poverty and the cost of living crisis,
together with proposed allocation of the next tranche of the
Household Support Fund.

Content

1)           
That Cabinet approves the approach
set out in Section 5 including the proposed allocations of funding
from the Brighton & Hove Fairness Fund and the Household
Support Fund. 
 

2)           
That Cabinet delegates authority to the Chief Finance Officer,
following consultation with the Cabinet Member for Finance &
City Regeneration, to make alterations to the allocation of the
Household Support Fund in order to maximise its use in accordance
with the relevant time constraints.
