Planning Committee A

This is a regulatory committee to which Full Council has delegated all functions related to town and country planning and development control (i.e., granting planning permission or consent to build, develop land, or change the use of land or buildings, among other responsibilities).    There are two Planning Committees, each with the same functions and authority: 

Planning Committee “A” 

Planning Committee “B” 

  Please note prior to the 4th November 2025 Planning Committees were called Development Control Committees.
